
Vernon Grounds: Bust in Bronze
On March 6, 2009, Denver Seminary welcomed nearly 200 people to campus for the dedication and unveiling of a bust in bronze of the likeness of Dr. Vernon C. Grounds, 2nd president and beloved chancellor of Denver Seminary. The sculpture is housed in the Vernon Grounds Reading Room on the northwest end of the Carey S. Thomas Library.

The artist: Francisco Delissalde, sculptor

Bust, bronze, cire perdue cast, on separate bronze round-base and bronze square-counterbase.
Height: 18 inches (without base); Width: 11 inches; Depth: 10.5 inches
