Alumnus John Alfred Kelly (MDiv, '71) has been serving as the Chaplain at the Arapahoe County Detention Center in Centennial since 2000. In his words: "I have the privilege of ministering among 1400 inmates at any one time (last year 18,000 men and women were booked in), I provide them with Bibles, devotional material, hold worship services and do some 'soul work.' It's amazing how incarceration causes some people to get serious with God."

We at Denver Seminary are proud of our grads who so faithfully live out Scripture and who make an impact in our world for the glory of God. "Remember those in prison as if you were their fellow prisoners, and those who are mistreated as if you yourselves were suffering." - Hebrews 3:3
