Denver Seminary

Following graduation from Denver Seminary, Daniel Schweissing (MA '00, Urban and Intercultural Ministries) and his wife Estela were commissioned by American Baptist International Ministries for missionary service in the Bahamas. While there, Estela ministered to at-risk women and children in the Haitian immigrant community and Dan trained pastors and lay leaders at Atlantic College. They also worked closely with local community groups to address human rights concerns faced by Haitian immigrants.

The Schweissings are currently based in Denver for a six-month home assignment and are anticipating reassignment to a new ministry in Latin America or the Caribbean this fall.
