Travel to Israel

  • Jan 5, 2010
There is still room to travel with Denver Seminary to Israel -- for credit or not.

If you are interested in traveling to Israel to study historical and geographical settings, the Seminary is partnering with Jerusalem University College (JUC) to offer a 3-week trip/course. The course may be taken for credit (credits may be transferred to Denver Seminary at no charge) or by those who wish to audit.

During the course of the trip, participants will visit Jerusalem, Galilee, the Dead Sea area, Negev, Shephelah and Judah. There is also an optional 2½ day extension in Jordan, which includes sites such as the land of the Moabites, Edomites, Reuben, and Gad, including Petra, Jerash, Mt Nebo and Madaba.

The trip is May 16-June 6, 2010 - 3 full weeks.

The cost is $4,533, which includes airfare, lodging, meals, tips, field trips to the sites mentioned above, map materials, JUC tuition, entrance fees, Denver Seminary administrative fee, and mandatory trip insurance. Cost for the optional Jordan extension is $728. Costs do not include personal expenses and group bus transfer to Jerusalem from the airport.
