Counseling Degrees

The Counseling programs at Denver Seminary are built on a theological and biblical foundation, as well as a mentoring experience, through which students develop their faith in practical ways and develop professional and personal skills to be effective leaders in our world.

Master of Arts in Counseling (Licensure)—
Community Counseling Concentration

This program prepares students for many different careers within the mental health field both secular and Christian in nature. Graduates have found employment in community clinics, residential treatment, church based counseling, private practice and other contexts. The program is accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP; see FAQ section), which will give students an advantage in the licensing process over those graduating from non-accredited programs. Denver Seminary Counseling graduates are sought after for career opportunities as well as Ph.D. programs. Applicants to the Licensure concentration are urged to complete their application for admission as soon as possible because of the limited space and high demand.
