Certificates of Completion
Denver Seminary offers six 10-hour certificates of completion.

Certificate of Completion in Chaplaincy
This 10 semester-hour certificate program is ideal for students wishing to pursue a volunteer chaplaincy position; a chaplaincy vocation where the criteria for employment is not as standardized or credentialed; for persons wishing to "try out" the vocation before committing to a long-term educational, clinical and religious judicatory commitment; or for a retiree looking for a new "specialized ministry" vocation.
The successful completion of this certificate program can be applied to degree requirements in either Denver Seminary's MDiv or M.A.-Counseling Ministry degrees with a chaplaincy concentration.
Certificate of Completion in Apologetics
This certificate requires the following courses: PR 501 Defending the Christian Faith;
PR 664 Religious Pluralism; plus four hours of PR electives.
Certificate of Completion in Christian Formation & Soul Care
This certificate requires the following courses: SF 501 Biblical and Historical Foundations of Soul Care; SF 502 Principles and Practice of Spiritual Formation; SF 511 Dynamics of the Spiritual Journey; SF 513 Practice of Soul Care and SF 595 and SF 596 Soul Care Practicum I and II.
Certificate of Completion in Intercultural Ministry
This certificate requires the following courses: IM 501 Introduction to Ministry in Intercultural Contexts, IM 511 Introduction to Missiology, IM 621 Communicating and Leading in Intercultural Contexts, and LD 631 Handling Conflict and Change in Intercultural Contexts.
Certificate of Completion in Messianic Judaism
This certificate requires the completion of five of the following 2-credit courses in Messianic Judaism: MJ501 Introduction to Messianic Judaism, MJ502 Messianic Jewish Liturgy and Symbolism, MJ503 Messianic Jewish Apologetics I: Answering Historical and Theological Objections, MJ504 Messianic Jewish Theology I: Covenants and Eschatology, MJ 505 Messianic Jewish Theology II: Key Issues in New Testament and Rabbinic Literature, MJ 506 Messianic Jewish Apologetics II: Messianic Prophecy, MJ 601 The Gospels in their Jewish Context, MJ 602 The Modern Messianic Jewish Movement, MJ 603 Missiological Themes for Jewish Evangelism. Certificate of Completion in Worship
This certificate requires the following courses: PME 513 Biblical Theology of Worship, PME 514 History of Christian Worship, PME 613 Worship and Culture, and PME 751 Administration and Organization of Worship Services.
