Doctor of Ministry Degree

COME TO BE TRANSFORMEDdmin-chaplaincy

Transformation is what our Doctor of Ministry program is about: transformation of your life and ministry. You can't move forward if nothing changes. You are transformed into "a better me," not into someone else. We teach you to ask:

Use What You’ve Got...Don’t Try to Be What You’re Not

    Areas of Study

    There are two tracks:

    1. Leadership
    2. Marriage and Family Counseling
Leadership has four concentrations with different emphases:

NEW-Leadership in Chaplaincy (DMC) -- teaches students how to minister to persons in institutions and to the institutions themselves under the Bill of Rights which guarantees the free exercise of religion.

Leadership in Preaching and Pastoral Ministry (DMP) -- teaches students how to unite people and purpose and direction for the accomplishment of the mission and vision of the church/organization. This concentration focuses on such questions as How do I lead through preaching/communication rather than just having different topics over time?

Church and Parachurch Executive Leadership (DML) -- teaches students how to organize and develop people for the accomplishment of the mission and vision for the church/organization.

Leadership in Community Spiritual Formation (DMS) -- teaches students how to develop a community that is effective in forming people spiritually so that increasingly they will naturally accomplish Christ’s work in His way.

Marriage and family Counseling has one concentration:

Marriage and Family Counseling (DMF) -- teaches students to lead families to implement family solutions that will work for them—using the family’s strengths rather than focusing on weaknesses.
