Students in Denver Seminary's Master of Arts in Counseling with a School Counseling concentration receive solid clinical instruction in counseling methodologies, sound biblical training and encouragement and instruction on integrating their faith with their learning. The Master of Arts in Counseling program at Denver Seminary is both academically challenging and practical in the hands-on application of theory to practice. In addition to specialized coursework on school counseling, students in this program fulfill their internship requirement in a public or private school setting, giving them excellent experience in preparation for real-world application.
The Master of Arts in Counseling with a School Counseling concentration includes practicum and internships in preparation for the state of Colorado licensure exam and work within a religious or secular school counseling program.
