MDiv with a concentration in Intercultural Ministry

The Master of Divinity with an Intercultural Ministry concentration equips both prospective and experienced overseas missionaries for effective cross-cultural ministry. It gives nationals from other countries the tools to help them minister more effectively in their own contexts. And this degree enables those who intend to remain in North America to become more culturally sensitive and to minister with competence among people of diverse backgrounds and ethnicity.

At Denver Seminary, the intercultural ministry degrees fall under the umbrella of the Division of Christian Ministry. Watch a video from the Division of Christian Ministry.

TheMDiv with a concentration in Intercultural Ministry is excellent preparation for goals such as:
  • Overseas missions

  • Ministry of nationals planning to return to their countries

  • Pastorate in urban ministry and other cross- or inter-cultural settings

  • Leaders in diplomatic or international contexts
