Community Life Coordinator
Greetings from the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains!
My story begins in New Orleans, where my earliest life experiences involved Mardi Gras, Saints football, eating crawfish, and watching barges float the Mississippi. I attended the University of Mobile (Alabama), where I earned a B.A. in Humanities before heading to Beeson Divinity School of Samford University to earn a Masters in Theology. For as long as I can remember I’ve had a passion to help people thoughtfully and authentically cultivate a relationship with God.
In the recent chapters of my life, God has most significantly revealed himself to me in the outdoors. My wife, Leah, and I fell for each other while hiking in Glacier National Park (Montana), and prior to joining the staff at Denver Seminary I worked for five years at a non-profit called A Christian Ministry in the National Parks, which afforded me the opportunity to travel across the U.S. and observe the broad landscape of American culture and Christian expression.
Denver Seminary is an inspiring place to work and study. We are situated in the shadow of the Rocky Mountains, which serves to remind me that geography is a visible form of theology and that humans are but one part of the community God desires to redeem and restore. My hope is that Denver Seminary students develop a holistic perspective of community as they explore Colorado’s natural wonders and bond over their shared discovery of ministry, service, and leadership.
I look forward to meeting you, hearing your story, and learning how I can help enrich your experience at Denver Seminary.
