Full-time Youth Pastor Wanted

Vision-driven, evangelical, non-denominational Asian American church in central New Jersey seeks energetic Youth Pastor. The church has 300 attendees with three congregations (English, Mandarin,Cantonese), each with a full-time pastor. Our vision is to establish multi-generational, multi-ethnic, and interdependent ministries; to empower new generations of church leaders; and engage disciples for the Great Commission. We have a well established youth ministry with a Youth Pastor Intern and several young adult counselors committed to serve.

* Minimum 2-year youth ministry experience
* Degree (preferably M.Div) from accredited evangelical seminary
* Understanding of Asian-American church ministry

Duties and Responsibilities

General
*Participate in leading worship services, including preaching, when requested.
*Participate in pastoral staff and church board meetings
*Participate in planning and execution of church-wide decisions/events.

Youth Ministry
*Minister to youths (grade 7 to 12), youth helpers, and parents.
*Provide oversight and leadership training to junior and senior high youths.
*Oversee ministries including, but not limited to: Fellowship Events, Missions Trips, Retreats, *Outreach Events, Weekend Youth Ministry Events, Meetings as needed.
*Provide training and shepherding for adult youth leaders.
*Provide training for parents to assist them in the upbringing of their children.
