Our church is located in an upper middle-class community but is quite diverse - from truck drivers to post-doctoral researchers. Almost half our households are what I term unique although that may no longer be true in contemporary America. We have a number of single parent households, members whose spouses do not attend and single, middle-aged adults. We host a preschool and make our building available to a number of community groups. 30-40% of our membership were formerly members of the LDS church, the dominant faith in our area. David Rowe, another Denver alum, leads our worship team and is a professor at Salt Lake Theological Seminary.
