Conference Baptist Church of Evergreen is searching for a communications/office manager. Overview of Position: The Communications and Office Manager oversees all aspects of media and communication for the church including web, publications, signs, media and video; and oversee and manage all aspects of the church office 1. Ability to plan, organize and multitask in a deadline intensive environment 2. Advanced computer skills including familiarity with publishing software, website content maintenance tools and other related software, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel. . .) 3. Bachelor's degree preferable 4. Experience required in writing, editing, graphic layout and publishing print, electronic and social media 5. Command of the English language, proper style, usage and punctuation 6. Demonstrated creativity (portfolio may be requested for review) 7. Experience in managing people and projects along with interpersonal, networking and supervisory skills 8. Experience in website, electronic and social media design and development 9. Clear criminal background checks conducted by CBC as requested 10. Experience managing office staff, budgets, etc. This position will supervise the church's receptionist and various volunteers. 11. Experience working at a church The church is not able to provide benefits beyond salaried compensation for this position.
