Description:
Cornerstone Baptist Church in Windsor, CO is seeking a part-time Worship Leader to lead and coordinate music and media arts. The person for this position should display: (1) a professional and enthusiastic stage presence as well as excellent vocal and instrumental skills (preferably acoustic or lead guitar); (2) versatility to lead both contemporary (band/guitar-driven, Tomlin-esque) service and a more blended (praise team, less edgy) service, but providing seamless worship support for a contemporary teaching style; (3) excellent people skills including an encouraging, positive attitude and a team-player mentality; (4) the ability to work with existing and recruit new musicians; (5) the ability to lead and collaborate with creative and media support teams; and (6) an upstanding Christian character. This is an excellent, solid, part-time position to include a minimum of 2 Sunday morning services and rehearsal times weekly as well as creative and media support team meetings and regular collab time with the Senior Teaching Pastor. Other ministry skills, including the desire and ability to work with student ministry (middle and high school) would be a plus, and could result in quicker advancement. Must provide references and submit to and pass a criminal background check.
