Worship Arts Director/Pastor at Crossroads Community Church

The Worship Arts Director/Pastor works closely and directly with the Senior Pastor to plan how to best lead the people of the church into a sense of God’s presence and power, in conjunction with other ministries through the arts. The Worship Arts Director/Pastor seeks out and encourages people within the church who have gifts musically, in drama, and in audio/visual technology in order to build teams that will assist him in putting together worship services with powerful spiritual impact as well as providing a ministry that will outlast them. The Worship Arts Director/Pastor is responsible for the overall direction of the music, technical, art, and drama that takes place during the weekend worship services. The Worship Arts Director/Pastor will work in conjunction with the Senior Pastor to shepherd the people under his direct supervision and will prayerfully seek wisdom from God as to how to help the church grow as a worshiping church. Minimum Education: Some college courses in Music or Worship Arts areas Preferred Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Music or Worship Arts along with some course work in Biblical or Theological areas Preferred Experience: At least five years as a Worship Pastor in a church setting of at least 400 attendees Position Requirements: Excellent people skills Excellent musical ability Strong technical understanding and abilities (AVL) Heart of a shepherd to minister to all those under them Demonstrates organization abilities Demonstrates a servant attitude Willing to work under the direction of the Senior Pastor Ability to perform in high stress situations
