Formational Healing and Prayer

This course explores the role and function of prayer in the healing, transforming and empowerment of the whole person. The course will survey the different types of prayer that foster spiritual formation.

Offered from July 7, 2008 to July 18, 2008, Monday-Friday from 1pm-4pm in classroom 115, the course will be taught by Dr. Evan Howard.

Dr. Howard is widely published and most known for his book The Brazos Introduction to Christian Spirituality. He earned his doctorate from Graduate Theological Union (GTU) in Berkeley, Calif. He is an excellent presenter and lives a semi-monastic life with his wife just outside of Montrose, Colo.
