  • Travel to Israel - This three week course is an intensive academic study of the geography, history and archaeology of the land of Israel, with field studies in Jerusalem, the Negev, the Dead Sea area, Galilee, Samaria, the Golan Heights, and many other locations related to the biblical text (OT & NT). This amazing experience will be repeated again in May/June 2012! If you have not had the pleasure of visiting the land of Israel and Jordan, you may want to consider joining the next group.

  • IM 590: The Chinese Worldview Today - This 4 week seminar in China is designed to equip students with a deeper understanding of Chinese philosophy and worldview.  30 hours of lecture over 10 days in the classroom is accompanied by afternoon field trips to important historical and cultural landmarks. IM 590 takes place June 3-20, 2010 at People’s University in Beijing and Xian Normal University in Xian, China. Cost is $4,335 (includes 3 hours graduate credit from Denver Seminary) plus airfare.

  • Stewardship & Resource Development (LD 612) - This course helps leaders understand biblical principles of stewardship as a basis for successful Christian fundraising. Students will explore theological and professional writings on related topics and develop a personal philosophy of stewardship and a resource development plan for an organization or church.

  • Redemptive Suffering (SF 590) - (previous summer course) This course explored the universal phenomenon of human suffering with special attention directed to God's purposes for suffering in the lives of Christian disciples. God honoring responses that should appropriately be made and the transformational outcomes of suffering were also explored.

  • In the Path of Paul (OT/NT 590) - Trip to Greece and Turkey (past information)
