The Donation Processing Clerk (DPC) is a temporary, non-exempt position. The Donation Processing Clerk is responsible to uphold the policies as set forth in the doctrine of the Constitution/By-laws of the Denver Rescue Mission, and must sign, and abide by, the Denver Rescue Mission Statement of Faith.

The DPC reports directly to the Donation Processing Supervisor (DPS).

The specific duties of the position are as follows:
-Opens and analyzes mail when assigned by the DPS.
-Verifies scanned documents: checking names, addresses and donation amount.
-Set up new donor accounts into database.
-Runs the folder/inserter machine, as needed.
-Runs postage meter, as needed.
-Assist the DPS with other projects in the Data Processing Department.

-Ability to type 40 wpm accurately.
-Knowledge and previous experience working in a sophisticated data entry system.
-Ability to demonstrate attention to detail.
-Good interpersonal skills with ability to work in a confined space.
-Willingness to work Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
-Committed to work from mid-September through early-January
