Job Title: Hospitality Coordinator
Department: Church Hospitality Outreach
Reports to: Father Stace Tafoya Church Rector
Job summary:
Hospitality Coordinator will manage a staff of 15-20 volunteers responsible for a variety of hospitality positions during both Sunday church services. The coordinator must be present for both services to oversee the staff. The coordinator will be responsible for staff scheduling and job training and development. This individual should be gifted in hospitality. We consider the first five minutes of a visitor's experience to be vital in creating a welcoming worship environment focused on spreading the gospel.
Summary of essential job functions:
Must be able to work well with people of all age groups. Must be positive, outgoing, people- oriented and organized. Should have some administrative background and an understanding of the goals of training and team development. Should be focused on making the church organization look its best.
Minimum requirements:
Must be interested in the hospitality aspect of ministry and people development.
Abilities required:
Scheduling, leadership skills, ability to set objectives and achieve them.
Position Goals:
For the Hospitality Coordinator to work with the church to develop each of the job functions of the hospitality program. Develop a hospitality program template which can be used in other church organizations. Grow church congregation through staff objectives and development. Develop training materials to match responsibilities
Compensation:
The position is an hourly position. Compensation is negotiable based on experience. If the applicant is interested in school credit for an internship, we will make every effort to arrange it with the school.
