Denver Seminary, in collaboration with the Lausanne Committee for World Evangelization, is pleased to host a working lunch session to prepare for Cape Town 2010, the Third Lausanne Congress on World Evangelization. Attend this lunch and be part of this catalytic movement!

The Congress, held in collaboration with the World Evangelical Alliance in October 2010, will bring together 4,000 leaders from more than 200 countries to confront the critical issues of our time as they relate to the future of the Church and world evangelization. Cape Town 2010 is not just a one-time meeting, but rather is a collaborative Congress that will connect hundreds of locations and thousands of people around the world for what will be, God willing, a catalytic event in the life of the church.

During lunch, hear from Lausanne leaders and discuss how you and those you lead can prepare for and participate in Lausanne's 3rd Congress, whether in Cape Town or at home. Collaborate with area Christian leaders to use Cape Town 2010 as a resource for world evangelization in and through our communities.

Douglas Birdsall, Executive Chair of the Lausanne Movement, will talk about preparation, involvement, and follow-up for Congress Delegates and GlobaLink participants. Denver Seminary will be a public GlobaLink site in October, where local church leaders can see and hear videos of congress presenters, and be a part of small group discussions.

There is no charge for this event. A box lunch will be provided.

For more information on Denver Seminary's participation as a GlobaLink remote site, visit the Cape Town 2010: GlobaLink Remote Site Conference webpage.

Please RSVP by September 17 as there is a limited number of seats for this event.
