Cape Town 2010: GlobaLink Remote Site Conference - CANCELED

Monday, October 18, 2010 - Wednesday, October 20, 2010

Location: Denver Seminary Chapel, 6399 South Santa Fe Drive, Littleton, CO US 80120

Attendance Limit: 350

Update: 10/19/10, 8:30 am

Dear Globalink conference participants,

Due to overwhelming technical difficulties in Cape Town, we are forced to postpone our Globalink conference today and tomorrow.  The videos from Cape Town, which would have been the centerpiece of our time together and the basis for our interaction, are simply not yet available.  Rather than risk the possibility of us sitting and waiting on the chance that the videos might appear, we have decided to wait.  We will be discussing when we can reschedule in the near future.  We will make that information known through our web site and email when we know more.

Thank you for your interest in this Globalink conference.  Please pray that the Lausanne organizers will be able to solve the technical difficulties, and pray that the enemy might not win the victory in this instance.

Again, we are sorry for the inconvenience and trust you will find profitable ways to fill the time!

Warmly,

Scott

Important Update on Conference 10/18/2010

Many of you are attending, or are planning to attend, the Capetown 2010 GlobaLink Remote Site Conference at Denver Seminary that began this morning (Monday, October 18). Due to technical difficulties in South Africa, we have had to modify today's planned schedule. We have not yet been able to download videos of today’s sessions, though the people onsite in South Africa assure us that they are working 18 hour days to make it possible, and progress is being made. Thank you for your patience, and please be in prayer for those who are trying to resolve these technical problems!

We will continue to meet this evening from 7-8:30 pm in the Chapel, but the topics may be different than originally scheduled.

We are closely monitoring the situation, and will be posting an update first thing in the morning regarding the status of the technical problems, and any changes to the topics covered for the rest of the conference.
