Rally for the Common Good Breakfast
Tuesday, February 25, 2014, 7:15 AM - 9:00 AM
Location: Inverness Hotel, 200 Inverness Drive West, Englewood, CO US 80112
What do business and church have to do with each other? Do they belong to two mutually exclusive domains or are they different sectors of God’s vast sphere of operation? If so, is it possible for those who labor in these sectors (i.e. church leaders and business entrepreneurs) to work together in a mutually beneficial and enriching manner for the promotion of the cause of Christ and the glory of God in the world?
This year, as it explores the theme “Human Flourishing Through Economic Discipleship”, the Grounds Institute of Public Ethics proposes to make these questions the focus of its annual Rally for the Common Good event which is planned for February 24 and 25, 2014. The Rally’s particular goal is to provide the opportunity for an engaging conversation between Church leaders and members of their congregations who work in the arena of business.
The breakfast is planned for Tuesday February 25, 2013 from 7:15 am to 9:00 at the Inverness Hotel which is located in the Denver Tech Center (200 Inverness Drive West, Englewood, CO 80112). The breakfast will feature the keynote speaker of the Rally, Dr. Charles Self, author of Flourishing Churches and Communities, and Director of Doctoral Studies at the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary, Springfield Missouri.
It is our pleasure to extend this especial invitation to you. The cost for breakfast is $30.00 per person but thanks to a grant from a benefactor, admission to the event is free.
