The Director of Children & Family Ministry oversees a vibrant ministry to 300+ children (infants through 5th grade) and their families. The ministry is designed to encourage growth in Christian discipleship in Jesus Christ through a variety of incarnational, educational, fellowship, and service opportunities. These include activities such as Sunday School, contemporary Kids Worship, and Base Camp—a mid-week, outreach program. Summer events include Music Camp and Sports Camp. Special events include an annual Family Advent Brunch, Easter Egg Hunt, and Sunday School picnic. The Director manages a part-time staff of three (Administrative Assistant, Volunteer Coordinator, and Childcare Coordinator, and Interns). The Director also mentors and equips numerous adult and teenage volunteers. We are looking for someone with a heart for Jesus Christ and a passion and love for working with young children and their families. A bachelor’s degree or higher and experience in Children’s Ministry, preferred. The Director must also have a deep, abiding relationship with Jesus Christ, and strong interpersonal skills as well as organizational, administrative and management skills.
