Christian Ministry Endowed Scholarship
A few years ago, a generous couple provided the funds to establish the Christian Ministry Endowed Scholarship Fund to honor several people who have influenced the world for Jesus Christ. Russell and Nora Taft,Thomas and Mary Robinson, and Richard Blatchley were dedicated servants whose lives inspired a God-focused passion for studying His Word and Spirit-led application. This fund will allow Denver Seminary students studying Christian Ministry the opportunity to receive world-class training and mentoring. As one of our five academic programs, Christian Ministry is a discipline that both M.A. and M.Div. students can pursue. Students eligible for the Christian Ministry Endowed Scholarship Fund must be studying in any of the following areas: Worship, Leadership, Youth and Family Ministry, Christian Formation and Soul Care, and Intercultural Ministry. Each student must also be attending Denver Seminary full-time, be of high academic achievement and must show a need for financial assistance. Today, Denver Seminary has over 1000 students, 171 are pursuing degrees in Christian Ministry. To enable more of these students to attend, gifts to endowed scholarship funds like this one are vital for equipping church leaders in the United States and around the world.
