Doctor of Ministry Endowed Scholarship

The Doctor of Ministry program at Denver Seminary provides a structured, stimulating atmosphere for the education needed to continually develop spiritual gifts and pastoral skills. Those in the parish and parachurch ministries engage in an intensive period of advanced study and research in order to expand their interests and heighten their competence in service. The D.Min. program is designed to help students (1) develop their God-given abilities so they can accomplish more, and (2) develop ministry consistent with their abilities and the people they serve.

D.Min. students pursue one of two areas of study: the Leadership track, which includes concentrations in Preaching and Pastoral Ministry, Church and Parachurch Leadership, and Leadership in Community Spiritual Formation; or the Marriage and Family Counseling track. Applicants eligible for the Doctor of Ministry Endowed Scholarship must be full-time students and in good academic standing.

Today, Denver Seminary has over 1000 students, 150 of whom are pursuing the Doctor of Ministry degree. To enable more students to attend, gifts to endowed scholarship funds like this one are vital for the on-going education of pastors and para-church leaders.
