Dr. Bruce Shelley Endowed Scholarship
In 1957, Dr. Bruce Shelley joined the faculty at Denver Seminary to teach church history and historical theology. For over half a century, Dr. Shelley taught and mentored in the area of Christian Thought, providing countless students the foundation they need to be successful in a ministry setting. It is because of his dedication to teaching Biblical truths that the Dr. Bruce L. Shelley Endowed Scholarship Fund was established. The Dr. Bruce L. Shelley Endowed Scholarship Fund provides aid for continuing students who demonstrate academic excellence in the area of Christian Thought and exhibit potential for teaching in a Christian higher education setting. Each year, the endowed fund will award one Master of Divinity or Master of Arts student who has completed a minimum 24 semester hours with a minimum 3.25 GPA. Each student must demonstrate a need for financial aid. Today, Denver Seminary has over 1000 students who are dedicated to learning and teaching God’s Word. Through these students, countless lives will be impacted for Kingdom of Christ. To enable more students to be equipped with a seminary education, endowed funds are crucial to train future pastors, scholars and ministry leaders. If you would like to give to the Dr. Bruce L.
