"Central to the Theology of the Christain faith is an understanding of the the unique work in calling out a people for himself. Part of the good news the apostles preached was the direct revelation from Jesus Christ that His redemptive work of grace would bear fruit in the formation of the church." -Edward L. Hayes Edward L. Hayes was the fourth president of Denver Seminary and served from 1993-1996. Much of his legacy is rooted in his previous role, which was Academic Dean, a role he filled from 1972-1979. During that time, Dr. Hayes helped shape the caliber and character of the faculty to world-class distinction. His love for shaping the minds andhearts of students was evident throughout his tenure and for that reason, a scholarship fund was established in his honor.
As Denver Seminary is building a transformational global community to equip leaders from all over the world to think biblically, live faithfully and lead wisely for a lifetime, we are excited to have this merit-based scholarship fund which provides financial assistance for students demonstrating exceptional levels of academic achievement. The earnings from this endowed scholarship fund will help deserving students complete their studies in preparation for ministry.
