Korean Student Endowed Scholarship Fund

In 2005, our board of trustees unanimously agreed to add Korean theologian,Dr. Sung Wook Chung, to the faculty of Denver Seminary. Not long after that, the administration strengthened our commitment to preparing Korean leaders for ministry by seeking support for the establishment of an endowed scholarship fund for Korean students. On Dr. Chung’s very first day of classes, this fund was formed thanks to the generosity of an attorney who is taking classes here, and his wife.

The founders of this fund pray that many will join them by making gifts to the Korean Student Endowed Scholarship Fund so that it can grow! Dr. Chung sees this fund as “a tremendous confirmation that Denver Seminary is committed to preparing Korean leaders” and has personally committed his resources and energy to seeing it grow. Churches, alumni and friends are encouraged to give to support this fund with gifts of any size.

Today, Denver Seminary has over 1007 students, 12 of whom are Korean students. To enable more Korean students to attend, gifts to endowed scholarship funds like this one are vital for equipping Korean church leaders.
