Greetings! My name is Garrett and I serve as an Admissions Counselor at Denver Seminary.
My story begins in Arkansas, where my earliest memories involve Razorback football, sweet tea, and what I’ve now learned to be funny-sounding accents. I attended the University of Central Arkansas where I earned my B.A. in Geography and I met my wife, Kaylee, who actually agreed to marry me and change her last name to “Looney.” We’ve been married now for just over two years and love it here in Colorado!
I began my own studies at Denver Seminary in January of 2011, pursuing a M.A. degree in Biblical Studies. That same semester I applied to and accepted a position in our Admissions office as a work-study, which blossomed into my current full-time position. I enjoy helping students achieve God’s call for their lives and feel blessed to be a small part of His handiwork.
Colorado has a plethora of opportunities for those who enjoy nature or love the finer things that city life has to offer. In my spare time I enjoy hiking, hunting, camping, watching football and playing the guitar. I would like to invite you to ask me any questions pertaining to our admission process, classes, student life, living in Denver or outdoor activities in the mountains. Hope to speak with you soon!
