Description:
The Associate Pastor of Family Discipleship (APFD) will be a Christ-focused servant leader, Elder-qualified Biblically to shepherd a local church body, with gifting and abilities in teaching, administration, leadership, and service. He will primarily function as a missionary to people from birth through young adulthood alongside of their families, both inside the Heights Baptist Church (HBC) body as well as in Billings and the surrounding communities. He will be responsible for leading and equipping people who have as their goal the making of Christian disciples. He will strive to equip parents as disciple makers, as they are the primary disciplers of their children and youth, as well as those in the larger HBC body who will be equipped to disciple this age group as staff. He will serve under the functional mentoring of the Senior Pastor, as well as serve under the spiritual mentoring of the HBC Board of Elders.
