Hospice and Palliative Care of Northern Colorado has an opening for a full-time Hospice Chaplain – Home Care. Qualified candidates will have a graduate degree from a theological seminary or divinity school, one or more units of clinical pastoral education and one year of chaplaincy/ counseling experience in terminal care preferred.
Hospice chaplains provide spiritual counseling and emotional support to hospice patients and their families. The hospice chaplain understands and commits to the philosophy, goals and objectives of the hospice concept. HPCNC is a non-profit, community based hospice, operating in Northern Colorado for 30 years. We offer an excellent benefit package, and positive work environment. HPCNC utilizes the “Family Experience Care Model” for hospice patients and their families. Our chaplains are an integral part of each patient’s team, working towards developing the patient’s plan of care.
