The Leadership Luncheon: Real Answers for Today's Issues

By Special Invitation Only
Hosted by President Mark Young of Denver Seminary

As a leader in our community, we value your insight and perspective. You are invited to join with fellow leaders from the Front Range area to discuss deeply relevant issues of our day such as leadership, policy, spiritual formation and vision, all from the context of biblical scholarship.

DATES

Tuesday, November 15, 2011 - Marriage: Who's Running The Show?

presented by Ron and Jan Welch of Transformational Marriage, LLC. This discussion will focus on the issue of power and control in Christian marriage. Sharing from experiences in their own relationship, as well as Ron’s 20 years of clinical practice and many years of teaching marriage and family courses, Ron and Jan will offer insights into the subtle and obvious ways that husbands control their wives. Using both humor and candor, the Welches will describe ten different ways that power and control in Christian marriages play out, while addressing issues of headship and submission in marriage, as well. Perhaps most importantly, they will share the Biblically-based principles that they believe can lead to lasting transformation in marriage.
