Part-Time Children's Pastor at Logos Central Chapel

Description:

Logos Central Chapel (Denver, CO) is seeking a part-time pastor for our children's ministry. This person will develop and lead a comprehensive children's ministry program. This position may lead to a full-time position in the future.

Requirements:

* Lead and train volunteer teaching staff
* Develop Sunday school curriculum

Education:

* Minimum bachelors degree from a 4-year university/college
* Other masters degrees from an accredited evangelical seminary will be considered (Seminarians currently enrolled in a degree program may apply)
* Master of Divinity preferred

Job Description:

* Facilitate time of praise for Sunday worship service
* Preach a children's sermon
* Train and mobilize volunteer teaching staff
* Have quarterly meetings with parents concerning curriculum and spiritual progress reports for the children
* Coordinate and direct all special activities/events such as Easter and Christmas plays, Vacation Bible School, and children's retreat
* Attend all leadership meetings, prayer meetings, and church-sponsored events

Compensation:
$1,200 per month
