FULL-TIME SENIOR PASTOR: Loudonville Community Church located near Albany, NY is prayerfully seeking a Senior Pastor to provide spiritual leadership to the congregation and oversight of church operations. His primary role will be as a Spirit-led preacher and teacher of the Word of God for church worship services. The candidate must be clearly grounded in his knowledge of the Bible and thus able to help others understand and apply the lessons of Scripture. He must also be committed to knowing the spiritual condition of the church flock, through faithful, personal interaction and minister to them through the Word and prayer. In regard to vision, the candidate must encourage commitment within the church body to Bible study, prayer, and outreach. Additionally, he must have a vision to reach the lost with the gospel around the globe. The candidate must have a demonstrable record of effective staff management and team leadership. He will have the responsibility of heading the church's Leadership Team that includes the Pastor of Ministries and the Director of Operations. He will ultimately be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the staff and administrative office for the entire church, but shares these duties with the Pastor of Ministries and Director of Operations. He will be a member ex officio of all boards, committees, and agencies of the church, and he will report to the Board of Elders. The candidate must have appropriate educational background which would include a Master of Divinity degree (preferred) or similar training. Pastoral experience is required; a minimum of 10 years preferred.

REQUIRED

Appropriate educational background

Demonstrable ability to preach and teach the Word of God

Demonstrable record of effective staff management and team leadership

Pastoral experience

PREFERRED

Master of Divinity degree or similar training

Applicants should have strengths in the following areas: theological acumen, leadership, strategy and administration, as well as strong communication and relational abilities. Applicants should be able to demonstrate these strengths in their current or past ministry settings.

Full-time ministry experience with prior experience in a multi-staff church

Minimum of 10 years Pastoral experience

The salary is commensurate with experience.
