A New Teaching Tool
Mar 19, 2010 by M. Daniel Carroll R. | 1 Comments
In January there was an important meeting of evangelical leaders from all over the country in Phoenix. In many ways that city has been "Ground Zero" for the national debate on immigration. The leadership of CCDA (Christian Community Development Association) and of the Evangelical Free Church, among others, gathered together for two days to think through some of the complex issues surrounding the topic of immigration. I was privileged to give the biblical teaching to the group. This hour long session was recorded and is now available through Urban Entry, a Denver based ministry. It can be obtained through their website at http://www.urbanentry.org/Urban_Entry/Home.html.

This is a great resource. I was glad to be in the room in Phoenix when it was recorded. I used a 2 minute clip from the video when I taught on God's compassion and justice for the poor yesterday for 120 high school students at church. One large church I know of has ordered copies of this for their senior staff. I highly recommend it.
