The number of resources on the topic of immigration, from a commitment to constructive change, is growing all the time. I list some below, and I hope that these might be helpful. By no means is this an exhaustive list.

NATIONAL WEBSITES

From a Christian faith perspective:

National Hispanic Christian leadership Conference: http://www.nhclc.org/immigration_reform

Denominational resolutions across a wide theological spectrum:

Wesleyan Church: http://www.wesleyan.org/gc/blog/positional_letters/?cat=5

Non-religious resources:

America’s Voice: http://www.americasvoiceonline.org

Immigration Advocates Network: www.immigrationadvocates.org

Migration Policy Institute: http://migrationpolicy.org/

Pew Hispanic Center: http://pewhispanic.org/

There are also state and local groups, both religious and secular, around the country working on behalf of immigrants. Some are chapters of national efforts. Others are purely local organizations, which partner with these other groups at various levels. Examples of the latter in the state of Colorado include:

Coloradans for Immigration Reform: http://coloradansforimmigrantrights.blogspot.com/

Colorado Immigrant Rights Coalition: http://circ.live.radicaldesigns.org/

You can also look at Bill Offrights' latest column on the Constitution and Immigration found at www.EyeOnEnglewood.com

I found it to be short and very thot provoking for both sides of the argument.
