The labyrinth that is the immigration process!!

As I engage people on the topic of immigration, in particular those who are here without proper documentation, I come across a very mistaken notion. Many think that anyone here can get their status normalized, if they only presented themselves to the proper government office and filled out the required paperwork.
If only it were so easy… if it only were possible! Please look at this link. This chart, which is in the form of cartoon characters, explores the avenues that might be available to immigrants. It is a labyrinth, one that demonstrates how difficult, and often impossible, the legal process is.
Enjoy the chart. You will walk away with a better idea of the some of the issues of immigration legislation.
