I won't lie, the oldest can have some good meltdowns, but those are usually avoided with a full stomach and her blanket! The oldest is very bright (of course right!), but she knows all of her ABC's, can count to 20, and can even count in increments of 10 up to 60. Her vocab is insane for a 3-year-old, so there is VERY little communication barrier with her. She knows some sign language and gets excited to practice it. I am not expecting laundry, dishes, housework, errands, transporting kids, etc. I just want someone to love on my girls while they are awake and make sure their primary needs are being met (diapers, potty training, food, etc.). I don't care if you have down time when they have down time, I know sometimes it's nice to just sit and relax. We do have two dogs, they are bigger, but they are very comfortable with the girls.
