Supervisor: Executive Director and Program Director

Primary Job Duties:
This position is responsible for assisting the Program Director with discipleship and supervision of clients and management of the Street's Hope house.

Intangibles: The Housing Intern will complete the responsibilities below while being a role model of grace, transparency, appropriate boundaries, and love. (1) Be a spirit-led Born again Christian who has an active and personal relationship with Jesus; 2) Able to model mature Biblical behavior)The House Director will operate on the assumption that who she is in relation to the women, staff, and volunteers is of utmost importance. Specifically in regard to leadership, the House Director will demonstrate a heart-felt team attitude, will demonstrate respect for authority, and will cover the Street's Hope leadership in prayer. An understanding of the universal (and therefore personal) position of weakness and the need for grace is essential. 

Daily Responsibilities:  
Be a positive role model for healthy relationships and dependence upon God.
Live life with and among our women, i.e. inviting friends, small group, etc. over to the house just as you would at your own home. Living your life with and among the women is a gift to them and lets them know they are not separated from others. 
Be on duty three days week. (Direct supervision is not always necessary.) Live your life during these periods and include them, knowing that normal life involves down time and separate space as well as intense involvement during periods of crisis. On duty responsibilities include completing daily case notes for each client, conflict resolution, monitoring client medication, providing transportation for clients, enforcing house rules and referring matters to the Housing Program Director for disciplinary actions as needed, and other tasks as deemed necessary.
Model good boundaries by taking days off and setting firm boundaries with clients on those days to help them foster independence and reliance on other support mechanisms. 
Participate in voluntary Bible studies with the Street's Hope ladies. Ensure that ladies who choose not to participate in the Bible studies feel loved and cared for regardless of their decision in this area.  
Attend weekly staff meetings.
Complete daily shift notes.
Pick up mail 3-4 times a week from Sheridan mailbox.
Ensure all clients have paid their program fee and maintain fee records.
Co-facilitate groups when directed.
Run errands as needed.
Help transport clients to appointments. 
Set house alarm during days of shift.
Help maintain house van.
Assisting with the upkeep and general cleanliness of the downstairs part of the house. 
Engage in regular community building activities.
Assist with cleaning/refurbishing rooms between clients.
Assist with Food Bank pick up and distribution.
Oversee UA Program: posting color daily, keeping accurate and up to date records, taking regular inventory of UA supplies and ordering supplies as needed.
Oversee  the Sign in and out folder/Weekly schedules keep forms up to date and file weekly.
Turning in all receipts and appropriate forms for purchases made in a timely fashion.
Check Streets Hope Email daily.
Maintain lawn, landscaping, sprinkler system, and assist with snow removal.
Assist with special events throughout the year.
Assist with Client Celebration Night (four celebrations a year).
Complete Special Projects for the Program Director.
Read and adhere to the Staff Guidelines.
Participate in semi-annual evaluation to be conducted by supervisor.
Write and send out thank you notes to volunteers, donors, etc. 
Other duties as needed.
