The people of Abiding Hope’s immediate mission field and the membership of the congregation are overwhelmingly white, suburban, educated, upper middles class families. The median population of the population is 33, giving Abiding Hope a distinctly youthful feel and a large cadre, nearly 500 youth below confirmation age, and another 200 youth in grades 7-12. There are four high schools in the immediate area, Dakota Ridge, Chatfield, Columbine, and Deer Creek.
