About Clearview Community Church:
Clearview is a non-denominational, elder-ruled body. Our paid staff consists of three pastoral, two administrative, and two maintenance staff members. We have approximately 225 family units, with approximately 175 youth and children.

We are people from every conceivable church background that have found a home at Clearview. We believe our unity stems from teaching and discipleship in areas of Scripture that have a high degree of clarity.

“In essential matters, unity, in non-essential matters, diversity, in all matters, charity.”

We seek to keep “the main thing the main thing”. We have chosen to center our teaching on core truths that are life changing and life giving. We are fixed on “essential beliefs” as our point of emphasis. We believe that the essential truths that unite take priority over secondary issues that divide.

We are made up of teams whose mission is to lead people into a transforming relationship with Jesus and authentic community with others so that the light of the gospel may be declared through our lives to the world. Our ministry teams love to shepherd the families of Clearview, bringing them together for worship, connecting them to groups for healing and discipleship, and empowering them for outreach. We share resources and understand that we often have to wear many hats as we serve in a small church. We seek to be an integrated team where “ministry silos” are not tolerated and authentic community is the norm.

Young people attending Clearview Community Church are a unique mix of those who have grown up in the church and those who have little knowledge of or about God. Also unique is the different educational backgrounds that are represented, from home school and private Christian school, to public and alternative education. We value creating environments where students from all backgrounds can explore and ask questions while equipping committed students to hold a Christian and missional world view as they grow in faith and purpose.

Canon City, Colorado: Pastor at Faith Bible Fellowship

October 25, 2012

To Denver Seminary,
I am chairman of the Board at Faith Bible Fellowship in Canon City, Colorado.
We are looking for a part time pastor for our congregation at this time. Our current pastor (for the last 13 years) has decided to retire and has given his resignation to us.
Faith Bible Fellowship is a non denominational church. Our music consists mostly of traditional hymns and praise chorus.
Our doctrinal statement is;
The doctrinal position of this church shall be as follows:
A.	We believe the Bible (consisting of the 66 canonical books of the Old and New Testaments) to be the inspired, infallible, final authoritative Word of God.
B.	We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
C.	We believe in the Deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His substitutionary and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal future return in power and glory.
D.	We believe that salvation is possible only by the grace of God made effective through faith in Christ and acceptance of Him as personal Savior and Lord, and that regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.
E.	We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit. It is only by the indwelling of the Holy Spirit that the Christian is enabled to live a Godly life.
F.	We believe in the eternal resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
G. We believe the ordinances of the church are two in number:
1. Baptism
                                    2. Lord’s Supper
