The successful candidate will become a key member of a highly-motivated digital innovation team that is focused on deploying innovative products that maximize ease-of-use for a wide range of end-users. The UI Web Designer / Developer works on project teams to build prototype user interface designs for usability testing, as well as serve as a knowledge resource for the latest trends and technologies for web- and standards-based user interface development. The User Interface Designer will work to actively assist in improving the usability, usefulness, and desirability of YFC&amp;rsquo;s internal web applications in collaboration with YFC&amp;rsquo;s Digital Innovation team, Communications, and IT department. Initial responsibilities will include: &amp;bull; Produce static design mockups of user interface concepts; &amp;bull; Code graphic mockups into clean, standards-compliant HTML &amp;amp; CSS; &amp;bull; Work closely with digital innovation team, IT, department managers, and other internal stakeholders to build story boards, proof-of-concept mockups, demos and prototypes of proposed and planned YFC applications and features; &amp;bull; Collaborate in the definition of user interface design standards of YFC applications, to optimize ease-of-use and achieve an integrated and consistent look and feel; and &amp;bull; Conduct ongoing research of web-based user interface development best practices.
