<title>Woodland Park, CO: Worship Pastor at Woodland Park Community Church</title>
<description>Woodland Park Community Church, in beautiful Woodland Park, CO, is looking for a full-time worship pastor.

Does this describe you?
- You love to worship God, and you love leading others in worship. Ushering people to the throne of God in song is the perfect fit for your core competences, passions, and current season of life.
- You are a seasoned guitarist &amp; vocalist (bonus points for multiple instruments, especially piano). You know some music theory (e.g. you know what &quot;C#ø7&quot; means, and a few ways to voice it). You pick up your axe everyday, even if just to work on some scales &amp; arpeggios; you are constantly getting better and honing your craft. You enjoy (or would enjoy, if not already) recording a worship album.
- You have a developed philosophy of music ministry, especially with regards to corporate worship in a church setting. You can define and defend the place of contemporary &quot;worship&quot; in modern churches.
- You have at least one year experience leading others musically. Musicians enjoy working underneath you, and you leave them better than you found them. You &quot;play well with others&quot;, in both senses of the expression. Your efforts have resulted in public performances.
- You can build the right team. You're willing to recruit and audition. You won't just let anybody on stage. We're looking for someone to take our list of volunteer musicians and interview and audition them, in order to form the varsity band from the best human resources we have.
- You are committed to excellence. You have a &quot;high bar&quot; for musicianship, both for you and your team. You have the leadership ability to grow the band, and its &quot;production level&quot;.
- You have convictions and opinions, yet you receive input &amp; correction well. You are gracious with under-performing musicians, but not afraid to vote them off the island if necessary.
- You're committed to frequent rehearsals and making them a blast for your team. You're detail-oriented enough to make those rehearsals efficient. You are competent at scheduling and communication. And it goes without saying that you're dependable and trustworthy.
- You enjoy experimenting with different arrangements and instrumentation. You like conducting a variety of different styles of worship, from a straight-ahead rock feel, to a &quot;Civil Wars&quot; simplistic (yet awesome) rendition. The human voice (alone and corporate) holds a special place in your heart, and therefore a capella congregation singing is a recurring goal. You love to &quot;sing to the Lord a new song&quot;, and yet the old hymns make appearances in your set list (yet with a modern arrangement &amp; feel).
- You're always &quot;on the hunt&quot; for great Christian artists. We know you know who Chris Tomlin is. Do you know Phil Wickham, Jadon Lavik, Matt Maher, Bart Millard, and Jeremy Riddle? What about Future of Forestry, Derek Webb, Leeland, and Gungor? You probably like Noisetrade. Can you introduce us to underground Christian bands that do art very well? Yes!
- You are a solid believer and can defend your theology (there will be a theological part of your interview process). You agree with our mission, vision, and doctrinal statement. You have a passion to share the Gospel with others, personally and through worship.
- Bonus points for experience with audio engineering (live and/or in the studio), lighting, stage setup, visual arts, and various musically-related softwares.

Requirements
- Proficiency in guitar &amp; vocals
- Responsible for the programming of our Sunday morning services and other special worship services as scheduled (i.e. Good Friday, Christmas Eve, Etc.)
- 1+ years experience leading others musically (band direction)
- Comfortable on stage in front of 300+ people
- Agreement with our mission, vision, and doctrinal statement
- Good computer, email, and social media skills

Responsibilities
- Lead Sunday morning worship at our church and other special worship services
- Build a solid band consisting of core members and substitutes. Develop &amp; train band team members, bettering them as musicians, and mentor some who are capable of substituting as leaders in your absence to eventual be a leader
- Hold regularly-scheduled rehearsals
- Recruit, audition and train musicians and vocalists
- Design, arrange, and implement each component of the service flow for Sunday morning worship and special services in conjunction with the senior pastor and the creative team
- Catalog &amp; manage church-owned instrumentation and use thereof
- Build and maintain a church audio music library
- Oversee the improvement of our A/V experience, and stay up on current technology
- Build and revise annually the worship &amp; arts budget
- Learn our Church Community Builder database and implement in your area of ministry
- Attend staff meetings, pastor's lunches, and a once-a-month elders meeting
- Pursue areas of personal and spiritual growth (e.g. spend time with the Lord daily as part of your devotional life, exercise spiritual disciplines, read books, attend the occasional seminar / conference, participate in a small group, and exercise physically)
- Meet regularly with the senior pastor for coaching and mentoring.

Compensation
- Salary (including a housing allowance), and benefits (including medical) commensurate with experience
- Paid vacation &amp; holidays
- Mountain lifestyle (mild summers, scenery, and the wonderful lack of flying insects and traffic)
- Allowances for music library building, CCLI licensing, sheet music, sound equipment, etc.
- Flexible schedule
- Relocation allowance, if applicable
- All the peanut M&amp;M's you can eat

How to apply
- Send your resume to wpcc.worship.position@gmail.com. Include in your resume or cover letter a link to a video of you singing &amp; playing, preferably in a live worship setting.

Thanks for applying--and God bless,

<title>Algoma, WI: Summer Intern at Lakeside Community Church</title>
<description>Lakeside Community Church is a church for people who have given up on church but not on God. As a church, we have a desire to reach out to people far from God and see them grow into passionate followers of Jesus. People are often first attracted to Lakeside by the friendly, loving atmosphere they find and learn that it is a healthy place to grow spiritually, emotionally and relationally.

Lakeside Community Church is in the small town of Algoma, Wisconsin on the shore of Lake Michigan. The area is striking with its beautiful water views and lush countryside. Algoma is the epitome of a small town quality of life and yet it’s only minutes away from Green Bay where you’ll find entertainment, family activities and cultural opportunities. It’s also the gateway to the beauty, culture and uniqueness of Door County.

The summer internship program at Lakeside is an intensive spiritual growth, leadership development and ministry immersion experience. You will be given the opportunity to learn from some great innovative thinkers and creators in ministry, participate in the day to day activities of church staff culture and stretch yourself as a leader. As a Summer Intern at Lakeside you will have the opportunity to learn from a church staff who loves what they do and loves to share their ministry and knowledge with others. Our heart is to help you find your place in the kingdom of God and help discern God's will for your life – the how, where and what God is calling you to do.

This summer internship is a two month ministry opportunity for individuals who desire hands-on training and experience within the church body as they prepare for a future of serving in ministry. The program runs from June 1st through the end of July.

There is no cost to participate, but you will need to raise, or supply, the finances for your support during the internship period. It is a 40-plus hours per week job. There are some weeks you may actually work everyday. It's hard work...but it is very rewarding.

Summer Interns will select a ministry concentration in which they will focus their efforts but will gain a holistic understanding of working as a team within the church. Areas of concentration include: children's, youth and worship ministries.

We hold our interns in high esteem and view them as partners in ministry. During the summer you will engage with the Lakeside leadership community at several levels including weekly staff interaction.

The potential Summer Intern will submit a resume by April 30th to:

Lakeside Community Church
Attn: Pastor Chris Jarrell
E6295 County K
Algoma, WI 54201
OR
Chris@Lakeside-Church.com

Other things you may be wondering about...

What qualifications are you looking for in a Summer Intern?
Most importantly, a heart after God. We do our best, by the grace of God to create an atmosphere and culture in our church where people follow God passionately, and are sold out to him and his purposes. Having some previous leadership and/or ministry experience is definitely a plus. Being flexible, having a good attitude, and good interpersonal skills are definitely a must to survive in ministry. We feel it is important to have good relational chemistry with you, and we weigh that with every decision.

Do I need a car?
Yes. There is quite a lot available in Algoma for being a small town but you will inevitably want to explore Door County – the “Cape Cod of the Midwest” and head into Green Bay (about a 40 minute drive) or other surrounding communities for added cultural experiences or shopping.

Can I get college credit?
At this time, we do not offer any programs with higher learning institutions that could result in college credit.

Does Lakeside provide housing?
Currently we do not have housing to provide for our Summer Interns, so you would be responsible for finding housing. However, we will do everything we can to help you find a great place to live.

Is the Summer Internship program Full or Part Time?
We think that to get the full experience and feel for the consistency of ministry, it is important that a Summer Intern be full time.

Can I seek part-time employment?
Certainly. You may seek employment while you are a Summer Intern at Lakeside. We ask, however, that ministry expectations and time requirements take precedent over outside work schedules.

How can I find out more information?
Contact Chris Jarrell, Chris@Lakeside-Church.com, 920-487-3906.
