LHCC is a small church of approximately 85 looking for assistance with our worship in music. We are looking for a part-time person (male or female) who can sing and play either keyboard, drums, or guitar. We currently have 4 members in our praise team...2 female vocalists, an acoustic guitarist, and a keyboard player who can also play drums. The guys also sing. They are in their middle to late 20's but all have other jobs and we need someone who can coordinate song choices, and lead in the overall worship experience. This person should be spiritually mature and able to lead the team in worship and be able to use verbal transitions between songs to add to the atmosphere of genuine worship of God for the congregation. We are theologically conservative and a non-charismatic congregation with a very strong sense of being a family of friends. We desire someone who can bond with both our congregation and our praise team. The time commitment would be for practice time on Saturday morning for about 1 1/2 hours and Sunday morning for 2 1/2- 3 hours. Our current praise team is a great group of young people and we are looking for someone who can fit in and also lead.
