- Hours: Whatever you can offer. We're flexible since this is volunteer based.
NayaLife Community Church is a multicultural church serving Denver and Aurora's international community. A majority of our work is done with the city's Bhutanese-Nepali refugees. In the last two years, we've been blessed to see revival spreading among this predominantly Hindu community. Through house churches, outreach events, community service and education, we are finding whatever ways we can to spread the love of Jesus. Our congregation has grown rapidly to include Indians, Nepalis, Bhutanese, Pakistanis, Eritreans, and Americans.
Our staff is entirely volunteer-based right now as we are serving a very low-income congregation and just being obedient to this marvelous call God has given us. He has been laying the bricks before us, and we continue walking the road, knowing He will provide. We are in our third year of ministry, and as the church continues to expand, we need more help on the administrative end than ever before.
We need someone who can take some of the burden off of our Senior Pastor so he can focus on what he does best-- going to our families all along Colfax and serving them. Our pastoral team is currently maxed out, and we need someone who is interested in getting into church administration who can help us with keeping the practical areas under control. As this is a volunteer position, whatever amount of time per week you can offer, we are happy to consider. This would very likely become a paid position as the church budget balances and grows stronger. In turn, we can offer a wide variety of ministry experiences-- urban missions, youth, music, working with international cultures, community education, outreach, ministry of helps, etc. Let us know how we can bless you back. You will be loved, appreciated, and we will be happy to have another companion on this wild ride.
We need someone with a gift for church administration, flexibility to work with changing needs (within reason of course), and a love for people in need even if they don't live in the nice parts of town. If you have a heart for South Asia, this is an excellent opportunity to get involved in urban missions. You don't have to cross a globe to go on a mission-- just cross the street.
If you'd like to find out more, contact the email below and come visit us for either our Sunday Service or one of our house church meetings. The latter can be a very Book of Acts experience among people who face genuine persecution when they become Christians. It's changed all of our lives. God bless!
