Purpose Statement:
To serve the mission of New Denver Church by overseeing volunteers and programming for NDC Children’s Ministries

Reports to:
Pastor of Community Life

Responsibilities:
UpStreet (elementary school)
1. Select, develop and schedule volunteer leaders (through regular trainings and
1x1s)
2. Customize Bible story and small group scripts for our environment
3. Prepare digital files for large group (requires Keynote and iTunes proficiency)
4. Prep crafts and props for large and small groups (or manage a volunteer)
5. Track weekly attendance and visitors & print roster & nametags (or manage a
volunteer)
6. Sunday setup, program oversight, troubleshooting, and teardown (see below)

Waumba Land (pre-school)
1. Select, develop and schedule volunteer leaders (through regular trainings and
1x1s)
2. Prepare digital files for large group (requires iMovie and iTunes proficiency)
3. Prep crafts, props & snacks
4. Track weekly attendance and visitors & print roster & nametags (or manage a
volunteer)
5. Sunday setup, program oversight, troubleshooting, and teardown (see below)

Requirements
• 2-3 years people management and administrative support experience
• High organizational and administration gifts
• Excellent interpersonal and writing skills
• Understanding of childhood development
• Commitment to the guiding principle that parents are the primary spiritual developers of children
• Self motivated and able to set and achieve goals
• Judicious time management and multitasking expertise
• Basic computer proficiency necessary

Work Schedule:
20 hours/week
Sundays from 7:00am – 11:00am, 3:00pm – 7:00pm Wednesdays from 10:00am – 1:00pm
Other work times and locations are flexible
