Dr. Raleigh Washington

Raleigh Washington serves Promise Keepers both as its president, and the president of the Board of Directors. He is also President and Chief Executive Officer for The Road to Jerusalem. The organization's mission is to encourage Gentile believers in Jesus Christ to embrace the Messianic Jewish community.

Dr. Washington is the founder and Pastor Emeritus of Rock Of Our Salvation Evangelical Free Church in Chicago, Illinois, (An urban church reaching across racial barriers in the inner city of Chicago).

He co-authored Breaking Down Walls: A Model of Reconciliation in an Age of Racial Strife with Glen Kehrein, the 1994 Gold Medallion winner from the Christian Booksellers Association.

Dr. Washington attained the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army, earning the Bronze Star for meritorious service in Vietnam. He entered Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in 1980 (now known as Trinity International University), where he earned his Master of Divinity and received numerous awards.

At Trinity, Raleigh developed the Master of Arts in Urban Ministries program, which he directed for six years. He holds honorary doctorates from Trinity International University, Westminster College, and Azusa Pacific University. Dr. Washington has been a featured speaker for Promise Keepers and many other ministries.

He and his wife Paulette live in Denver and attend Church In The City, a thriving multi-cultural, inner city church.

 Pastor Yvonne McCoy

Pastor Yvonne McCoy was born in Toledo Ohio and born again at the age of 17.  She has two grown children who serve full time in the ministry alongside of her and has five grandchildren. Pastor McCoy has been an outstanding leader in the city of Aurora and surrounding communities, serving in the capacity of Founder and Pastor of “The Redeemers Christian Fellowship,” teacher, music ministry director and conference speaker.

Pastor Yvonne is a graduate of Fuller Theological Seminary receiving a Masters of Arts in Theology. This woman of God was ordained in 1989 and has been serving in full time ministry for 30 years. She has been featured in Family circle, Readers digest, Virtue, Aspire and Colorado Home and Lifestyle magazines.  Focus on the Family published a book “Where Women Walked”, which shares a synopsis of her journey. 

She is an active board member for Lead Global and Pryme and previously served on the board of Suicide Prevention for the State of Colorado.  In January 2001 she was honored as one of the Outstanding Women of Colorado by the House of Representatives and the Congressional record.  She has traveled as an Ambassador for Christ and presented the gospel message in Russia, ten African nations and the Dominican Republic. 

For 5 years she was an adjunct professor at Denver Theological Seminary and Suburban Training Center Director for their mentoring program.  Just recently the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship installed her to the office of District Overseer for Colorado. This woman hosted “Blessed in the Journey” television program on LeSea Broadcasting network. She has been a guest on The Word Network national syndicated program Heavenly Sent with PM Wynn.  She also appeared with Sinbad in the HBO special “The Son of a Preacher Man.”  She is a sought after preacher, speaker, teacher and musical director.

Her greatest desire is to see her entire family born again an others around the world be impacted by the truth of the gospel message of salvation. Pastor Yvonne is committed to serve people wherever the Lord would allow her to be a witness for him.  One of her favorite sayings is” Only what you do for Christ will last all else will fade away.”
