Congratulations Class of 2012!
- May 12, 2012

The class of 2012 have officially graduated and are now moving forward in whatever ministry God has in store for them. The commencement speaker was Leith Anderson, who shared many of his insights from his many years in ministry.
In particular he shared a story from the 1968 Olympics in Mexico City, when Tanzanian runner John Stephen Ahkwari was the last runner to finish in the marathon competition. He came in about an hour and a half after the winner, practically carrying his leg, as it was so bloodied and bandaged from an accident earlier in the race.
He was asked, “Why did you keep going?” and he answered, “You don’t understand. My country did not send me 5,000 miles to start a race, they sent me to finish it.”
May all the graduates continue to not just start the race, but finish it! Congrats to you all!
