Did Jesus Have a Wife? Resources to Help Navigate the Hype

PapyrusThe discovery of a 4th century papyrus, made public by Harvard Divinity School historian Karen L. King on Tuesday, September 18 at the International Congress of Coptic Studies in Rome, has many Biblical scholars debating its contents. While Denver Seminary has not addressed this issue specifically, we are providing a few resources for anyone interested in further discussion. Sleuthing Casts Doubt on "Gospel of Jesus' Wife" Article describing how the supposedly Coptic fragment describing Jesus referring to his "wife" might have been an internet forgery.
