Homeless Connect: An Opportunity to Serve the Community

  • Oct 31, 2010

On Friday, October 29th, many of Denver Seminary's staff, faculty, and students had the opportunity to participate in Homeless Connect, a one-stop shop of services for the homeless and those at risk of homelessness. Hundreds of people – all accompanied by volunteers – were able to take advantage of a wealth of free services, including health-care exams, legal advice and housing assistance all provided by metro-area professionals.

Mile High United Way and Denver’s Road Home together with Metro State College, Community College of Denver and University of Colorado were the hosts for this meaningful event during National Homeless Awareness Month. Denver Seminary was honored to be part of this bi-yearly event.
