Public Comments Requested for Reaccreditation
- Dec 8, 2011
Denver Seminary will undergo two comprehensive evaluation visits in February 2012 pertaining to our reaccreditation. The teams will be comprised of representatives from:
The Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools
The Higher Learning Commission is one of six accrediting agencies in the United States that provide institutional accreditation on a regular basis. Institutional accreditation evaluates an entire institution and accredits it as a while. Other agencies provide accreditation for specific programs. Accreditation is voluntary. The Commission is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
The Association of Theological Schools
The Commission on Accrediting ("Commission") of ATS is a membership organization of schools that are Accredited Members and Candidates for Accredited Membership of the Association of Theological Schools. Accredited Members are institutions that, after review on the basis of the Commission's standards, are voted by the Board of Commissioners ("Board") into Accredited Membership.
We are inviting the public to submit comments regarding Denver Seminary to both organizations at the following addresses:
